How to Perform the Weighted Hip Thrust: Tutorial
The Weighted Hip Thrust is an exercise that enhances glute strength , explosive power, and core stability. To perform this movement correctly, sit on the ground with your shoulders supported by a bench and a weighted barbell positioned over your hips. Place your feet flat on the floor, shoulder-width apart, and thrust your hips upward, keeping your core engaged and glutes contracted. Aim to form a straight line from your shoulders to your knees. Then, slowly lower your hips back to the starting position while maintaining control. This exercise is excellent for toning the glutes and improving overall lower body strength.
