How to Perform the Bulgarian Split Squat: Tutorial
The Bulgarian Split Squat is an exercise that develops leg strength , tones the glutes , and improves balance and stability. To perform it correctly, place one leg on a bench behind you and the other leg in front with the foot firmly on the ground. Lower your body by bending both knees until the front leg forms a 90-degree angle, keeping your torso upright and core engaged. Push through the heel of your front foot to return to the starting position, and repeat. This exercise is ideal for toning the quads, glutes, and enhancing functional leg strength.
