If you are having problems related to unexpected shutdowns of the Uptivo app on your Android smartphone while in background, you should check that the Uptivo app is not included in the list of apps automatically managed by the power saving settings. Some devices might close the app to preserve the charge level if the automatic management of the battery is active.
Here below some recommendations on how to handle the issue.

  • Settings > Battery > Check the app-specific restrictions and make sure to disable power saving settings for the Uptivo App.
  • Settings > Apps > Battery optimization and tap “All Apps” to find the Uptivo app and disable power saving settings.

Android versions 8/9

  • Settings > Battery > Check the app-specific restrictions and make sure to disable power saving settings for the Uptivo App. It would be better to disable the Adaptive battery feature on Android 9.
  • Settings > Battery > Tap the three-dots icon> Battery optimization > tap “All Apps” to find the Uptivo app and disable power saving settings.
  • Settings > Apps & notifications > All apps / App info > Uptivo App > Battery > Disable power saving settings.
