CrossFit gym management software, built around the WOD

Running a box is not running a gym

A CrossFit box lives on classes, not on floor traffic. Every hour has a cap, a coach and a programmed workout, and the community is the product as much as the training is. Generic gym software gets you a calendar and a billing engine and stops there, which is why so many box owners end up stitching together three tools and a spreadsheet of PRs.

Uptivo is a gym management platform with the training built in, and that combination happens to be exactly what a box needs.

The business side, handled

  • Class scheduling with caps and waitlists. Athletes book from the app, the 6 am class stops at capacity, and the waitlist fills the no-shows.

  • Memberships, class packs and drop-ins. Unlimited plans, punch cards for the travelling athlete, one-off passes for visitors, all in the same member management system.

  • Recurring payments. Subscriptions renew and collect on their own, and the membership status is always the single source of truth.

  • Athlete profiles. Attendance, memberships and training history in one place, so a coach can see who is slipping before they disappear.

The WOD on the member's phone: sets, reps and timer in the Uptivo app

The part generic box software does not have: effort on the wall

During the WOD, every athlete's live heart rate zone can be on the screen: who is pushing, who is pacing, who just hit a new level of effort. It works with the chest strap or sports watch your athletes already own, because Uptivo connects to any Bluetooth LE or ANT+ device instead of forcing a proprietary belt on every member.

Effort you can see changes a box. Intensity becomes coachable in real time, friendly rivalry gets a scoreboard, and Uptivo Performance Points turn consistency into a game that runs between benchmark days. That visibility is also what keeps members from quietly drifting away: effort-based retention is the reason clubs install Uptivo in the first place.

Open gym hours without a front desk

With Uptivo Gate, the door is a QR code and the membership decides who gets in. Expired plans stop at the entrance, and open gym or early-morning hours no longer require a staffed desk or a turnstile bolted to the floor.

Programming that lives with the athletes

Build the week's programming once and publish it to every athlete's app, drawing on a library of more than 1,350 exercises with video. Scaling options live next to the prescribed workout instead of in a coach's head. Between sessions, Nate, the AI coach, keeps members moving on the days they do not make it to class, which for most boxes is where retention is won or lost. See how it fits together in workouts and programming.

Questions box owners ask

Can we switch from another box management platform?

Yes. Our team helps you move your member list, memberships and schedule, and the cleanest moment to switch is the start of a billing cycle. Ask us about your current setup and we will tell you honestly what carries over.

Do athletes need to buy new hardware?

No. Any Bluetooth LE or ANT+ heart rate strap or sports watch works, including the devices your members already wear. Boxes that want house hardware can add Uptivo Lightband armbands, but nothing is mandatory.

Does it handle drop-ins and punch cards?

Yes. Recurring memberships, class packs and single visits coexist, and access rights follow whatever the athlete has active.

Can we run open gym unstaffed?

Yes. QR access through Uptivo Gate checks the membership at the door, so open gym hours do not depend on someone being at the desk.

How long does it take to get started?

You can start with scheduling, memberships and payments right away and add screens and heart rate later. Nothing requires building work or a hardware install to begin.
